I am a digital photographer (mostly shoot with a canon 5d mrk II), however I have worked a bit with film - for instance in my summer diary http://gretatu.blogspot.dk/2012/08/photo-diary-summer-2012.html. I absolutely admire how some photographers create magic using film, but unfortunately it has never been my thing. I am a child of the digital era. :)
